LeoTronics’ robots in the PYROS 2021 exhibition

From 6 to 8 October in the Czech Republic, Brno, the International Fire Fighting Equipment and Services Fair and the International Security Technology and Services Fair (PYROS 2021) were held, which became the largest such event in the European Union. At the same time, the Brno Exhibition Center held the International Exhibition for Defense and Security Technologies (IDET) and the International Exhibition for Security Technologies and Services (ISET). It focuses on professionals and anyone interested in fire prevention, integrated rescue efforts and systems, health, life and property protection, security, defense, and police professionals.

PYROS / IDET 2021 offers a rare opportunity to get a complete picture of this area in Europe. The exhibition is a leader in its field in Central Europe with a long-standing tradition - the first exhibition was held back in 1972. PYROS is undertaken every two years and, therefore, in October 2021, it was already had for the 19th time. It is an exceptional opportunity to obtain information about the functioning of the integrated security system and its units (web-cam sample may be accessed at the following link).

The LeoTronics team used this unique opportunity and took an active part in the exhibition - to present their advanced developments and overview of the integrated rescue system's functioning and components. Our company demonstrated revolutionary robotics technologies to help people in critical application areas (web-cam sample may be accessed. Three LeoTronics' autonomous mobile robots on a mobile tracked platform TrackReitar – were presented at the company's stand: the TrackReitar FFL fire robot in two modifications (with a capacity of 4800 l/m and 2400 l/m), equipped with a fire monitor and designed for effective fire extinguishing. And, the TrackReitar Rescue Horse model, on the other hand, is an auxiliary firefighting robot equipped with special cassettes for quick deployment of fire hoses, whose main objective is to lay a fire hose from the extinguishing site to the water source. The TrackReitar FFL and TrackReitar Rescue Horse have been designed for autonomous fire-extinguishing in too dangerous conditions for the fire brigade to operate.

Summing up, it should be noted that we were especially active at the exhibition. Apart from being present at the PYROS stand, our specialists also took part in the robotics show in the IDET held in the next pavilion. Also, the active interest of the exhibition visitors prompted us to demonstrate the work of our prototypes in the open air. As a result - the expansion of the network of contacts, active interaction with the Ministry of Defense of Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and other countries, whose representatives appreciated the capabilities of TrackReitar FFL as the best firefighting robot.
